Pure entertainment. Pretty much non-stop action interspersed with backstory breathers. Martin Lawrence is funny as hell and Will Smith is funny and dramatic. They nail the punchlines and move on without giving you much opportunity to overthink.
It will be interesting to see how much longer Will Smith (51) stays in the action movie game…
